619 Lacrosse hires coaches on a rolling basis for our events and training programs. We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic coaches who are interested in coaching and critically teaching at any level. Currently, our programs range from introductory to advanced programs serving rising 7th Grade through Entry college players. The commitment ranges from multiple one day clinics and camps to six-week league series club teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION
619 Lacrosse’s core foundational philosophy is centered on using an elite training experience to further develop and advance athletes who are often under-served and overlooked because of the communities they live in or come from.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Training experience in the lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level.
- Demonstrated experience playing and coaching lacrosse and/or working with and leading young athletes to a desired growth goal.
- Desire and ability to supervise, lead, and positively manage young athletes and work with other staff in a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Knowledge and skills in lacrosse and the ability to teach these skills to young athletes and staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possess excellent character, integrity, adaptability, patience, self-control, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.
- US Lacrosse Online Cultural Competency Course is required for all positions
Responsibilities:
- Follow and uphold all policies and philosophies of 619Lcrosse.com.
- Follow and uphold all state and local health and safety regulations and guidelines and those set by the camp
- Participate in and assist in running camp events and initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with the direct supervisor regarding concerns, updates, challenges, and successes.
- Communicate with parents about their child when necessary and appropriate.
- Set a good example for campers and coworkers in all areas, including but not limited to health and safety,
- accountability, fairness, organization, punctuality, following the rules, and sportsmanship.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and Director.
Requirements:
- Fully availability on event days subject to program-specific events (Clinics, Camps and League events) for the entire program season and to attend all staff trainings and meetings.

- Ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate health and safety
- regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
- Occasional lifting, bending, and climbing stairs.

- Possess the visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to camp activity.
- Be able to lead and fully participate in the sport.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- A background in lacrosse is highly valued, but not required.
- A background in high school or college athletics is preferred.
Must be 17 years or older or 14-16 with a work permit. - Must have reliable transportation.
The Tournament Staff will assist our Tournament Directors by working as field coordinators, clock operators, golf cart drivers, and/or equipment runners. Minimal training will be provided on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tracking student-athlete performance in online portals and on the field in lacrosse sessions
- Help in capturing game tape for film sessions and individual recruiting videos using the various software programs.
- Follow & uphold all state, local health and safety regulations and guidelines and those set by the camp
- Participate in and assist in running camp events and initiatives
- Communicate regularly with the Head Coaches and asst coaches regarding concerns, updates, challenges, and successes around lacrosse events
Coaching Internships

JOB DESCRIPTION
Coaching Interns can expect to learn important lessons in leadership, teamwork and sports operations, while gaining valuable coaching experience within our San Diego Metro area-based summer lacrosse programs. From serving as a site director for several educational camps to coaching within the club program, you will learn invaluable lessons within the thriving lacrosse industry.
- The intern will serve as the on-site Director of 619 Summer Lacrosse Camps and assist with the coaching, administration and on-site set up for our club program.
- Duties will include but not be limited to: pre-program communication, gear prep, inventory, social media content, marketing on site, branding via tents, schedule uploads and data entry.
- This position will work closely with the 619 Directors and Head Coaches
